The National Do Not Call Registry : blocking telemarketing sales call at home

Have you ever felt annoyed because every time you get telemarketing sales calls at home?

I'm sure we've experienced these annoying moments. Maybe if what they offer turns out we desperately need, we will even appreciate it. But if their actions do not recognize boundaries of privacy and tend to disrupt your life, you must be firm with them.

The problem is that some of us have a different character in dealing with telemarketing acts. And if you couldn’t act decisively to prohibit their call back, or the telemarketing sales that are too ignorant to respect your privacy, you can try to contact the Federal Trade Commission (FTC)

The Federal Trade Commission has issued a program that is very beneficial to American society. The program titled the National Do Not Call Registry, and can be accessed here. After you register your home and phone number, telemarketing calss certainly will not be able to call you since after 31 days.

However, the phone line that passes from blocking the federal trade commission system may be can happen. But this can be minimized by  pay attention to check and make sure that your home and phone number listed on their registry.

To verify your membership, can get through online at DONOTCALL.GOV (click on "Verify A Registration"), or by calling 1-888-382-1222 (TTY 1-866-290-4236) from the phone number you wish to verify. Follow the prompts.

And one thing you should know that all calls occur because not all calls are not covered.

The question is, whether the home and phone number  registered, is it means all calls coming from outside will be blocked?

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) said that you can still get calls from anywhere including political organizations, charities and surveyors. You'll also be able to get a call from a place where you working at. Companies or another party who has obtained permission from you also be able to contact you. So you don't need to worry about your home and phone number isolated from the outside of the world.
